FLAGSHIP INDUSTRY EVENT CONNECTING WALES’ CREATIVE TALENT WITH THE ORGANISATIONS SHAPING ITS FUTURE
The University of South Wales presents the third annual Creative Industries Careers & Networking Fair as part of Immersed Festival, taking place on Thursday 5th March 2026 at the USW Cardiff Campus Atrium. Last year, the event welcomed over 700 students and young people, connecting them with leading organisations across Wales’ creative industries.
Supported by the Welsh Government via Creative Wales, UK Music, Music Declares Emergency and Cardiff Music City, the Fair is a highlight of Immersed’s month-long celebration of creativity, opportunity, and imagination. It connects emerging talent with organisations shaping the future of Wales’ creative industries.
Over 40 leading exhibitors from music, film, television, theatre, live events, digital media, education, and the wider creative economy will attend. Visitors can meet employers, funders, venues, broadcasters, and support organisations offering pathways into employment, freelancing, education, mentoring, and professional
development.

A DAY OF OPPORTUNITY, ACCESS AND DISCOVERY
The Fair features exhibitor engagement, industry-led workshops, panel discussions, and roundtable sessions, giving attendees insight into real-world creative careers and the skills needed to succeed.
The day concludes with the Immersed Mixer, curated by Cardiff Music City and supported by Cardiff Council at the Students’ Union Bar, Atrium. Join for exclusive new music, networking, and festival fringe hospitality, extending conversations into the evening with live music, informal networking, and community celebration.
The lineup will showcase a mix of Cardiff’s emerging artists and local favourites, giving a first glimpse of the city’s vibrant music scene – full details coming soon.

The USW Careers & Networking Fair connects education and industry, championing collaboration, sustainability, and inclusion, while highlighting creativity as a driver of confidence, opportunity, and positive change for Wales’ next generation of creative professionals.
