Mared brings a Welsh flavour to blending folk, indie and pop.

The Welsh Album of The Year 2021 awardee will perform with her 7-piece band, ‘Mared & Friends’ plus special guests. Expect soaring vocals with sounds influenced by the Laurel Canyon era.

Earlier this year they released a live visual 5 track EP, funded by BBC Horizons Launchpad. In September, Mared releases a brand-new single from her upcoming 2026 EP and is stopping by Llais as a Cardiff resident as part of a mini tour of Wales and England to celebrate!

Having made a name for herself on the Welsh Music Scene, on BBC Radio Wales, Radio Cymru, playing festivals such as Focus Wales, Tafwyl, Sŵn, this year Mared’s music takes her to Canada, Switzerland, London and beyond, and she is excited to be joining the line up at Llais and to be bringing her band to play close to home!
