For a taster of this year’s festival line up we’ve invited Kaptin Barrett to put together our 2026 playlist.

Kaptin is the former Head of Music at Boomtown and Cardiff Arts Institute and is currently working on Big Love festival. He also curated the Welsh Hip Hop Exhibition at National Museum Cardiff, is an occasional presenter on BBC Radio Wales and cultural commentator via his Substack. With over 200 Spotify playlists of his own covering many different genres and time periods from the Middle Ages to the modern day we couldn’t think of anyone better to compile this one.
