Spoken word, music and art collide

Join Platfform and CELF: National Contemporary Art Gallery for Wales at National Museum Cardiff for a bold showcase of young voices inspired by contemporary art.

Led by writer, theatre maker and spoken word poet Tia-zakura, 11 young Platfform poets have spent eight weeks exploring rhythm, flow and performance techniques and creating original ekphrastic poetry in response to artworks from the national collection.

Now, they take to the stage to share their creativity, words and voices, alongside music and an exhibition of the artworks that sparked their ideas.

Celebrate the next generation of spoken word talent in Wales with Platfform, a space that champions young voices and creates exciting opportunities for young people to explore spoken word.

Book your ticket for a night of powerful poetry, music and art.

Proudly part of Cardiff Music City Festival.
